This painting is part of the Runeterra Echoes series, inspired by the universe of League of Legends.

But here, the starting point was actually a classical drawing by Tiepolo, capturing raw, explosive anger.

I’ve always been fascinated by astrophysics and science fiction, which, to me, is today’s version of mythology. 🛸

‌

He’s obviously furiou, for reasons known only to himself. His medal suggests command, but his face… well, his face is barely holding together. 💢

To intensify the emotion, I chose to let his head and neck explode outward, a visual echo of internal pressure.

Human? Alien? Who knows. 👽
