Here is “The Big Step”, a painting that feels like a threshold. 🌊🟢
The composition came together in an unexpected way: while I often use photos or frozen movie frames as a base, this time it turned into something symbolic.
On the right, a ghostly figure.

On the left, a woman holding a cigarette.

And in the center ; this man, stepping boldly across the water toward a bright green zone full of promise.
🌊 This may not be a coincidence: in a former life, I was a Water Engineer.

Today, I feel like I’ve stepped into a new world ; one made of color, gesture, and storytelling.
Visually, this painting also marks a turning point.

While keeping my signature fluo pinks and blues, I embraced a simpler composition ; more open, more direct.
